The support is flexible and tailored to your individual circumstances, helping you to feel more in control of your mental health by understanding what’s driving your symptoms and what keeps them going.
Together, we explore how stress, life events, relationships, lifestyle, and sense of purpose affect your nervous system, thoughts, and emotional wellbeing.
From there, we build a practical, personalised plan with manageable strategies that fit your needs. This may include:
Lifestyle adjustments
Psychoeducation
Psychological tools
Practical, physical, and nervous system–based approaches to support regulation and longer-term recovery
This approach is designed to reduce overwhelm, restore a sense of control, and promote clarity and confidence. It supports lasting change by helping reshape how your nervous system responds to stress.
The goal is to help you build a strong foundation as quickly as possible, so you can continue this work independently and feel more confident managing your mental health over time.
Where helpful, I can also recommend additional services and guide you on how to access or self-refer, based on clinical priorities. We can set short-, medium-, and long-term goals to support your progress in a clear and structured way.
Appointments can be face to face, telephone or online depending on what works best for you.
First step: Free 15–20 minute triage call
A free 15–20 minute telephone call to discuss your main concerns, a brief history, any immediate risks, and what you’re hoping for from support. This is also a chance for you to ask questions and decide whether working together feels like the right fit.
Your first session is a 60-minute assessment to understand your circumstances and symptoms in more detail.
This will inform an initial set of practical recommendations, which we’ll discuss in the session and then send to you by email. These recommendations help guide our follow-up work and give you something useful to start with straight away.
We begin working on solutions from the very first appointment.
In follow-up sessions, we build on the initial assessment and focus more deeply on your main difficulties. We often use this time to explore what’s keeping problems going, using psychoeducation and practical, solution-focused strategies to make changes increasingly effective and easier to maintain.
There is also space to reflect, develop your self-awareness and understanding, and help consolidate the approach so everything fits together in a clear and supportive way.
